SARANDE
Saranda is a seaside city in Albania, overlooking the Ionian Sea and close to the Greek island of Corfu. It is known for its pebble beaches and crystal clear waters. The architecture is a mix of modern and soviet styles. From Saranda, it is easy to visit archaeological sites such as Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the ancient city of Foinice. The seafront promenade offers numerous restaurants and bars. With a Mediterranean climate, Saranda is an ideal destination for summer holidays. Despite the growing tourism, it retains an authentic Albanian flavour.
